Heatizon’s patented Pedestal Paver Snow Melting System allows our popular Hott-Wire Mineral Insulated heating cable to be installed directly beneath Pedestal Paver applications. This allows for egress, drainage, maintenance access, and more.
The Pedestal Paver Snow Melting System uses a system of custom trays and brackets to install custom manufactured Hott-Wire cables directly beneath the pavers, ensuring maximum heat transfer and simplicity of installation. The cables run back to the provided GFEP equipped relay panel where an electrician connects them to the needed circuits. This solid state, electrical solution requires no boilers, valves or complicated moving parts.
The Pedestal Paver Snow Melt system is sold as a complete system, with brackets, pans, Hott-Wire cables, activation devices and relay panel. Pavers and pedestals are acquired separately, but this system pairs with most pedestal systems and sizes of paver.
